Right now I have 12 sliders made, all in matte black. I have enough magnets to make 8 more. I’m not sure if I should make more black or matte blue. If I can get some good photos, I’ll list the black ones tomorrow on Etsy 09/20/22.

I think I have about 17 sliders printed. All in black. Still need to add magnets and assemble.

Here’s a first look at the newest fidget slider

With many of the issues ironed out, I’ve started production of the next release of sliders. They will be version 5. I’ve printed several, but I don’t know when I’ll have enough for release. Each one takes several hours to print.

I’d been struggling with the balance between magnetic strength as it relates to laddering. Finding the right balance was hard, if the magnets were too strong it would not ladder as well. I think I’ve found the solution. In adjusting the magnet spacing I’ve been able to maintain magnet strength with better ladder-ability. The dynamics…

Made some adjustments to the printer to get a nice print with a new material, matte black. If I can get consistent prints. I’ll start producing them again.

I’ve come to realize what slider I’m drawn to. Whenever I reach for a slider, it’s always the matte blue. This is because it has the best feel and the matte finish gives it grip in hand. For now, I will be only producing the matte finish sliders. Currently I have limited colors, matte blue…

Currently working through some 3D printing hardware issues. I’ll have to sort this out before I can begin producing more sliders. I’ve also redesigned the part so they print better and fit together better. I may slightly redesign the side thumb texture so that it prints more consistently.
