- Each slider is 3D printed, it takes 3.5 hours to print one slider, many end up in the garbage because of a flaw in the print
- Once the parts are printed and inspected each piece is cleaned by hand (4 pieces)
- The magnetic plates are measured with calipers to verify the spacing
- The magnets are glued into the bottom plates
- Weights are added and glued in place
- Each slider is heat treated to create a uniform finish
- The PTFE tape is added then trimmed to size
- The plates joined with the shell and glued into place
- Each slider is tested
